Yes! Please!

From Daily Mail...

Julian de Guzman has opened the door for Tottenham to clinch his signature at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to White Hart Lane after earning rave reviews for Deportivo La Coruna.
There are several reasons I would love this move. I love supporting Canadian players abroad. It's important for our national team for it's players to have success overseas. Also, Spurs are my team. And when I first started really paying attention to the Premier League in 2005, it was Canadian Paul Stalteri's move to Tottenham which made me a fan of the club. And most importantly De Guzman is a fantastic defensive midfielder who can also crack the ball in from long range if he wants to. This is huge since I can't stand stupid Wilson Palacios who, had he caught any part of C. Ronaldo on Saturday after his two footed studs up attempted tackle, would have been sent off within 10 minutes of the game starting. Like Mascherano this year, Palacios only seems to be able to hack people down and he is a liability to be sent off whenever he's on the field. The sooner Spurs get rid of Palacios (and Jenas), the better.

Palacios and Mascherano comparison? Dude. Seriously. Dude. DUDE!

Mascherano is maybe the best defensive midfielder in the world.

Yes. He's clearly insane. He's as unpredictable as a child's next amusement. But he is also awesome. Seen him play in the flesh and the man is seriously an android or something. Could rival Kuyt and Tevez for pure crazy running. Except that he tackles better than almost anyone.

Anyway- he's been a tad erratic this season but for every one of his crazy moments, he makes like 6 tackles you don't even notice.

Anyway...rant,rant (i want the prem! boo hoo) rant rant.

DeGuzman to Spurs would be sweet. Go Canada. hahaha. Won't be spoiled with the aus soccer team soon. hehehehe. Ah, pickleshoes.

Oh, calm yourself before your knickers catch fire! I was comparing the two, but not in a skill sense, rather in a sense that they are prone to making stupid (or "rash" as the English commentator would say) challenges.

And I think Mascherano had his 15 minutes in the tops in the world category. Doesn't seem like the same player this year.

And yes, you re-Canadian, come and lament with me.
